    Tbilisi

    Arrival in Tbilisi, transfer from airport and accommodation in hotel from 14:00.

  • Day 2
    Tbilisi

    Let's get acquainted with Georgian capital. Trinity Cathedral - largest Orthodox church in Georgia and third largest in the world. Narikala fortress on top of mountain from where magnificent city view is offered. The oldest region of Sulphur baths Abanotubani, where in the middle of squat buildings-domes raises majestic Blue Bath trimmed with tiles. We’ll also explore other main sights of Tbilisi.
    For additional price: the opportunity to enjoy evening in Georgian restaurant where Georgian cuisine, wine, chacha and dances are waiting for us!

  • Day 3
    Kakheti

    Today we explore Kakheti. First visit regional capital Telavi. The city is located in the heart of Alazani Valley, rich with grape plantation and the place where famous Georgian wine is produced. Also its landmark is giant plane tree, aging more than 900 years old. Alaverdi Cathedral is one of the most famous medieval temples in Georgia located in Alazani Valley. It was built at the beginning of XI century and is one of the tallest structures of its time. Visit to Tsinandali - village, where is located chic estate of Kakheti princes - Chavchavadze. It was here where the very first winery in whole Alazani Valley was launched. In winery you learn how to make wine and chacha in home cellar, taste several varieties of wine and fire chacha. Lunch in Georgian style.

  • Day 4
    Sighnaghi

    Let's begin our acquaintance with city of love of Sighnaghi. We stroll through fortress wall, surrounding entire old part of city. Fabulous views of Alazani Valley are offered from fortress walls. It is very difficult to describe this colourful and worthy work of nature. However, we can say that those who see Alazani Valley with their own eyes will never be indifferent to Georgia either. Visit city museum, where are kept 15 original paintings by famous artist Niko Pirosmani.
    In 2 km from Signagi in Bodbe there is nunnery of St. Nino, baptizer of Georgia. Here is her grave. She is recognized as one of the places in the world where wishes can be realised.
    On enjoying beauty of Alazani Valley, return to Tbilisi. Free time. Optional by your wish chance visit Sulfur Baths. Night in Tbilisi.

  • Day 5
    Kutaisi

    Breakfast at hotel.
    Our path today lies in Imeretia - a region in west of Georgia. Here visit cave town Uplistsikhe, once built in rocks on river bank. Here we walk through living quarters, rulers apartments, theatre, and in the end pass through underground tunnels that once led city inhabitants to river. We visit Borjomi resort to try famous mineral water right from the spring and, if desired, fill bottle or two to take with you. Further our way lies to second largest city of Georgia - Kutaisi, city with thousand-year history. Once it was capital of Colchis kingdom. As legend says, it was here where Argonauts arrived in search of Golden Fleece.

  • Day 6
    Batumi

    Breakfast in hotel. Just in 1984 in Imeretia near Tskhaltubo town was discovered cave, named Prometheus. You will go through halls dating million years old full with mythical forms of stalactites and stalagmites, waterfalls, rivers and lakes. Part of the cave tour will be by boat through underground river (when heavy rain, water level in river rises, and then you can walk just in pedestrian part of cave).
    Botanical Garden is dating since 1912 and stretches over an area of 113 hectares. Due to warm subtropical climate it has collected 2 thousand plants from around the world. We’ll pass along garden paths, and later from top of blossoming hill again see radiant Black Sea. Batumi - Black Sea Pearl. We’ll see Piazza square where world celebrities performed, St. Nicolas church, Medea sculpture, New Boulevard. Finally indulge yourself with watching musical fountains. Night in Batumi.

  • Day 7
    Kutaisi

    Breakfast in hotel. Having already seen a lot and filled with emotionს, let’s spend this leisurely day at Black Sea. And if weather is warm enough, it is possible even to sunbathe and bathe. In evening our way lies again to Kutaisi, todays evening we will spend in real hospitable Georgian family where we will have dinner, lots of toasts and wine in real Georgian style. Night in Kutaisi.

  • Day 8
    Mtskheta

    Breakfast at hotel.
    Further we head towards Tbilisi, on way admiring road views and small villages along it. First thing what we will do today is visiting real Georgian market where we will have chance to buy sweets, various Georgian seasonings and spices. Also we will see ceramic products purchased in Georgia which can be used for preparing dishes in oven as well.
    After we will visit Mtskheta which has been Georgia's spiritual heart since Christianity was established here about 327, and holds near-mystical significance in Georgian culture. For this ancient city is called "Second Jerusalem". Svetitskhoveli Cathedral is a real masterpiece of Early Middle Ages and is recognized by UNESCO as World Heritage Site. It is currently second largest cathedral in Georgia, after Holy Trinity Cathedral.
    We’ll climb to top of mountain to Jvari monastery, from where opens amazing picture of two rivers confluence - Mtkvari and Aragvi. It is first Georgian object, inscribed in UNESCO World Heritage List and dating 545 year. "If you were not in Mtskheta, you were not in Georgia" - there is even such saying. Night in Tbilisi.
