Kyrgyzstan introduced a visa-free regime for citizens of 44 countries up to 60 days. That makes the travelling more easier and attractive.

Citizens of the countries listed below intending to visit Kyrgyzstan up to 50 days do not need obtaining entry visa to Kyrgyzstan: Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brunei, Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, France, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Kuwait, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland,Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States of America, Vatican City.

Citizens of the following CIS countries also can enter Kyrgyzstan visa free: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine.

For other countries is required to obtain Kyrgyzstan entry visa at the any Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic abroad. If there is no embassy or representation of Kyrgyz Republic in the country, visa can be obtained in Russian or Kazakh Embassy or at the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at the airport of Bishkek upon arrival. The mentioned above embassies provide Kyrgyzstan visa only in case if there is an invitation/visa support provided by a company of the country of destination.

Climate

The overall climate of Kyrgyzstan is continental. Summers are hot and winters are cold. Kyrgyzstan is landlocked with a huge variety in elevation and terrain. Spring is around March to May, summer between May and September, autumn from September to December, and winter from December to February.
