Itinerary

  • Day 1
    Tbilisi

    Arrival to the capital of Georgia, Tbilisi. Introduction to the representatives of the company at the Airport and transfer to hotel.
    Tbilisi City Tour
    We are inviting you for a sightseeing tour of the city, during which you will visit: Peace Bridge, sulphuric baths district, Sioni temple. We will take the cable cart ride to Narikala fortress and have a bird’s eye view of Tbilisi from the top. We will walk through Fig Canyon and street of restaurants Shardeni. You will be able to taste Georgian Wines at the “Degustarium”.

  • Day 2
    Jvari-Mtskheta-Uplistsikhe

    Djvari
    Visit to Djvari Temple (VI cent.), which overlooks city of Mtskheta. You will be able to enjoy a spectacular view of the evening city, which stands next to the junction of two rivers Aragvi and Mtkvari.
    Uplistsikhe
    Uplistsikhe (The House of God) is an ancient cave town, one of the first ones on the territory of Georgia, which was curved in rock, situated 12 km. east of Gori.
    Mtskheta
    Later comes city Mtskheta. Religious people believe, that praying for tree times in the sacreds of Mtskheta, equals to one prayer in Jerusalem.
    Here, in Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, lies Tunic of Jesus Christ, which he wore during his crucifixion.

  • Day 3
    Baku

    Transfer to Airport after the breakfast for a flight to Baku.
    Our guide will meet you at the Airport and transfer you to the four star hotel in the city center, where you can check in to your accommodation. You will have some free time.

  • Day 4
    Baku

    After your breakfast we will start with excursion “Sightseeing Attractions of Ancient and Modern Baku”.
    The city panorama viewed from height of Upland park gives you an idea of the contrasts and scale of the city, covering the landscape in the shape of horseshoe curve along the Bay of Baku. The city is like an amphitheater going down to the Caspian Sea. This excursion covers the central part of the city with visits to the most interesting historical and architectural places. We will visit Baku Boulevard and have a boat tour of the Bay of Baku (Weather permitting). Baku Seafront Boulevard is one of the sightseeing attractions of Baku. It is a favorite place for rest and entertainment for both residents of Baku and city guests.
    After lunch we will continue our tour with excursion “The Old City” (Icheri-Sheher).
    The tour begins of the Baku sightseeing guided excursion and includes visiting the viewing platform in the Upland Park, where a magnificent view of the entire city opens up. Then going down by the funicular, an interesting cog-wheel railway we start our tour of “The Old City”. The area of Icheri-Sheher is 22 hectares. In this UNESCO world heritage site many historical and architectural monuments are concentrated there, including the Shirvanshah Palace, a symbol of Baku — the Maiden Tower, the resting place of merchants – the Caravanserai, Synyk-Kala Minaret, Juma Mosque and others.
    This part of the city is the most interesting because of the abundance of architectural and historical monuments. Therefore this excursion is somewhat short, since it requires the whole day to visit all these memorials. You can use your free time to explore this area further. Return and overnight at the hotel.

  • Day 5
    Baku

    Breakfast at the hotel and then excursion “Ateshgah – the Eternal Fire Temple” – Yanardag.
    The temple of the eternal fire Ateshgah in the Surakhany habitation suburb is pentagonal complex with an open yard with the temple shrine in the center of it. This shrine was the the site of pilgrimage for fire-worshippers. The eternal fire temple Ateshgah is the most real Azerbaijanian exotica. This temple is located 30 kilometers from the center of Baku and famous for its burning natural gas flames. The expositions of the museum contain a set of unique original exhibits are housed in the former cells of pilgrims who came from all over the world to stay there. The temple was rebuilt in the 17-18th centuries. The tour of the ancient eternal fire country continues with a visit to the Yanardag (“Burning Mountain”). It is natural eternal flame that has burnt on the incline of the hill from the ancient times up to the present day. This flame is 10 meters across and 1 meter in height.
    The tour will continue with the excursion to “The Carpet Museum”.
    The state Museum of Azerbaijanian Carpet and Folk Applied Arts and Crafts is named after Lyatif Kerimov was founded in 1967. The museum building is located in the center of Baku in front of Seafront Boulevard. It is the first Carpet Museum in the world. The collection of this museum has more than 10 000 unique objects. Among them there are pottery works, hardware and jewelry made of bronze, metalwork of the 14th century, carpets and tapestries of the 17-20th centuries, gold and silver accessories, national clothes and embroidery. Also, there are exhibits of handiworks of modern applied arts and crafts.

    Breakfast and check-out from the hotel.
    In the case of late flight we will visit the food market with a wide variety of oriental sweets, fruits, species and others.
