Literary Moscow (Classical Literature)
During this tour you will see all the place connected to classical literature in Moscow of XIX-XX centuries. The main characters of this excursion will be A. Pushkin, M. Lermontov, N. Gogol, L. Tolstoy and others. During this tour you will have a chance to see:

Breakfast at the hotel. Second day of the tour is supposed to be started from the ride in Moscow metro, which is an architectural masterpiece itself and is decorated with marble, sculptures and mosaics.
We continue our tour dropping off nearby the Red Square, which is the main square of Moscow. First, we will admire the stunning view of all the notable buildings, starting from St. Basil’s Cathedral with its colorful onion-shaped domes, Lenin’s Mausoleum and GUM Department Store. Then we will continue our tour with the visit to the Kremlin, which is not only the citadel in the center of the city, but also the complex of cathedrals, museums and governmental buildings. Lunch. After lunch your program continues with the city tour. The tour includes a walk along the pedestrian Arbat Street, a visit to the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour and the Patriarch Bridge, also you will be able to admire the Bolshoi Theater and Novodevichy Convent and Cemetery (one of the most ancient and rich in its history monasteries in Russia) and have a tour around its grounds. For sure we will drive you along the riverbanks of the Moscow River and stop at Sparrow Hills, where a panoramic view opens up on the entire city.
Breakfast at the hotel. Full day Sergiev Posad tour. Sergiev Posad is a picturesque town 75km to the northeast of Moscow. The town is famous for the 14th century Trinity Monastery of St. Sergius, one of the most important centers of the Orthodox religion and a major destination of pilgrims. Sergiev Posad is the only town of the Golden Ring located near Moscow. During the tour you'll see other fascinating buildings of the monastery. The Assumption Cathedral commissioned by Ivan the Terrible rises in the center of the complex. Its blue domes with golden stars are seen from afar. The elegant baroque bell tower was built in the 18th century. Today it houses the biggest working bell in Russia. The Chapel Over the Well standing nearby was built over a spring discovered in 1644. Pilgrims come here with empty bottles to fill with holy water Lunch in the restaurant near Monastery.
Breakfast at the hotel. Free time in the afternoon (Optional to visit Circus, known for its excellent show and great costumes or Russian Ballet Theatre folk show at the additional cost). Transfer to the train station for overnight train departure to St.-Petersburg.
Arrival to St.Petersburg in the morning. Breakfast at the cafe. City Tour at St. Petersburg. During the city tour you are going to get an idea of the view of St. Petersburg, which cannot be compared to any other Russian city. First of all, you will see the main functioning cathedral of the city (The Cathedral of Lady Kazan), visit St. Isaac’s Square with a magnificent view on St. Isaac’s Cathedral, which is often compared to St. Peter's Cathedral in Vatican and St. Paul's Cathedral in London, have a marvelous view on the Neva-river (the main river of St. Petersburg) from the Spit of the Basil’s Island, the former and the oldest harbor of St. Petersburg. After the stop on the Spit of the Basil’s Island, you will have a guided tour to the Peter and Paul’s Fortress, the first construction and settlement of St. Petersburg. As a conclusion of the city tour, you’ll pay a visit to the Cruiser Aurora, the most famous battleship in Russia. Check-in in the hotel. Cruise by Neva river and canals.
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Pushkin or the Tsars’ Village (about 30 km), which was the official summer residence of the imperial family. The tour includes a visit to the Catherine’s Palace, where you will be able to admire the reception halls and world-wide famous Amber Room. After the visit to the Catherine’s Palace you are supposed to have a walk in the garden around. Guided Tour to the Hermitage Museum, the biggest museum in Russia, which possesses the biggest collection of paintings and examples of art created by Western European masters. (Optional Evening program: We can offer you to visit the ballet, folk show or to arrange the night river cruise under the drawn bridges).
Getting to Peterhof, the suburb of St. Petersburg, which is also called «Russian Versailles», by hydrofoil. Peterhof is world-famous by its numerous brilliant fountains, charming gardens and beautiful pavilions. Lunch.
