  • Day 1

    After breakfast you will explore Dushanbe city.
    Dushanbe is a capital of Tajikistan. Dushanbe means Monday in the Tajik language. It was named this way because it grew from a village that originally had a popular market on Mondays.

    The tour will start from the Botanical garden.The Botanical Garden established in 1930s in Dushanbe and it reaches 30 hectares. There are samples of trees and bushes from almost all corners of the world, many of which are already included in the Red Book of Nature.

    Next sight is National museum. The museum opened in 2001 is a departmental museum, but at the same time has a national status, which was the recognition of the value and importance of its collections at the state level.

    After the National Museum we will go to the Rudaki park, which is is located in two minutes from National museum. Rudaki is an ancient Persian poet who is considered the founder of Tajik culture. It a beautiful piece of art with a magnificent mosaic arch and fountain and is beautifully lit at night. Beautifully laid out flower and rose beds, lots of benches to just sit and enjoy the surroundings.

    Next stop will be near the monument of Ismoil Somoni is situated on Ozodi square. The height of the monument is more than 25 meters. The monument is richly decorated with gold and looks impressively.
    Abu Ibrakhim Ismoil ibn Akhmad Samani was the amir from the Sasanids dynasty , the founder of the state in Central Asia.

    After the city tour you will drive to the Khujand region.
    Khujand is the second largest city in Tajikistan (163000 inhabitants). It is located in Ferghana Valley on both banks of Syrdarya river. During Soviet times it was named Leninabad.

  • Day 2

    After breakfast you will have an excursion to Khujand city.
    There are three main places where tourists must to visit.

    The first stop is in Masjidi Jami mosque. It is the largest and the oldest mosque with a minaret in the city of Khujand and in the entire Sughd region. The mosque combines the old and the new architecture. Located in the center of Khujand near the Panchshanbe bazaar. Recommended to visit on Friday when a lot of people gather to pray. Very good acoustics and beautiful domes. Any tourist can сome in and take photos. The girls must have a hat.

    Then you will continue your excursion to Panchshanbe bazaar. It is the largest covered market in Central Asia. Pashcanbe means Thursday. In ancient times there was a big bazaar on Thursdays. Market Square located in the city of the center. This is a miracle in terms of architecture and design. The building is very well designed with a huge hall. Fresh vegetables and sweet fruits that are sold here all grown in Tajikistan.

    Next stop is mausoleum of Sheikh Muslihiddin. Mausoleum is one of the main attractions of the historic center of Khujand. Sheikh Muslihiddin was a poet, ruler, and a miracle worker. Despite numerous destruction and restructuring, the mausoleum is still a harmonious ensemble, giving an idea of the medieval architecture of the city.
    After city excursion you will drive to Kyrgyzstan. You will cross the border Tajikistan-Kyrgyzstan in Kyzyl-Bel region.

  • Day 3

    After breakfast you will go to the Aigul Too.
    Aigul Too is 20 min from Batken city.
    Aigul flower (“ai” in Kyrgyz means “moon”, “gul” - “flower”, or “moon flower”) is so-called endemic, it grows only in one particular place the globe. This makes the Aigul flower a unique heritage of Kyrgyzstan, and it is listed in the Red Book in 1978.

    After flower trip you will drive to Khan’s fortress. There is Khan’s fortress (Kudayar – han chebi) above the Abgol kishlak, which personify the power of the Kokand khanate (XVII century). Kudayar Khan led the troops and ordered to build a fortress during the time of his rule. Enemies could not get there after the fortress was built. The fortress is well preserved to our time.

    Then you will drive to Abshir Ata.
    Abshir-Ata is primarily known for its 15-meter waterfall, which is remarkable because it flows from a small karst cave directly in the rock. This place is located 70 kilometers from the city of Osh.
    Since ancient times, this waterfall was considered a sacred place, because of its unusual nature - on the territory of Kyrgyzstan there are practically no waterfalls flowing directly from the rocks.
    Have dinner and overnight in the hotel.

  • Day 4

    After breakfast you will explore Osh city and Uzgen region.. You will visit during the day:

    The Central Square and “Big Lenin” statue. One of the largest Lenin statues in the world the Lenin Monument in Osh should draw anyone interested in Soviet history.

    Also the holy mountain Suleiman-Too. All historical significance of Osh is concentrated in the Sulaiman-Too mountain, around which this ancient city is located. Its name is associated with the name of the legendary prophet and King Solomon, who according to the traditions prayed on the top of this mountain. The mosque on the top of Sulaiman-Too, is built by the great Babur-the founder of the empire of the Great Moguls. At the foot of the mountain there is a large number of historical buildings: medieval mosques and mausoleums, and in the caves of the mountain itself there is a unique historical museum built in the Soviet years. Sulaiman-Too is the most important Muslim shrine in Central Asia.

    Next stop at the mausoleum of Asaph ibn Burhiya was built in the 18th century in the traditions of the Fergana architectural school. During its existence, the building was restored with the means of wealthy citizens of Osh and Andijan. Scientists do not believe that earlier on the territory of the mausoleum there was an cult structure, dating back to the 10th-12th centuries.

    After Osh city tour, you will drive towards Uzgen region to visit mausoleum and local market.

    Uzgen is one of the most ancient cities of Central Asia, numbering more than two millennia. Originated in the II-I centuries. BC. as the center of trade on the way from the Fergana Valley to Kashgar. There is a minaret with a height of 44 m, built in the early 12th century, when the city was the capital of the dynasty of the Karakhanids.
    In the evening you will have the chance to participate in the Plov cooking master-class. Learn the traditions and specifics of Osh plov and enjoy the dinner.
    Return and Overnight at local guest house.
